2013 has been a fun year at Doctoral Writing SIG as our steep learning curve continues. We’ve enjoyed the chance to welcome some new voices of guest bloggers along the way – thank you to Michelle Picard, Jamie Burford, Michelle Maher, Deborah Laurs and ’Ema Wolfgramm-Foliaki. Thank you also to all our followers around the world who read and comment on the ideas explored here. Our community is growing every day and the site has now had over 58,000 views, with 538 followers of the blog plus another 441 following on Twitter. Hopefully we’ll see at least some of you in person at the QPR conference in Adelaide during April 2014 where all this began.

We’re taking a few weeks’ break now until early February. Those of us at Doctoral Writing would like to wish you and your families a peaceful holiday season, whether that is in the glorious southern summer, in icy northern climes, or somewhere in between. See you again in 2014!
